Hmm hmm, aint nothing wrong about being gay. Just some people over-react when they see two straight characters on a show are yoai'd in fanart (A frend of mine on dA will often complain about it to me) that or they don't know how to feel about gay couples in general.
It’s pretty difficult to distinguish the sexual orientation of some 12 yr old cartoon characters. It’s a foggy area even canon-wise. (Some people just think they’re straight because they’re supposed to be, then when they get older realize otherwise. I’m one of those people actually, heheh.) They’re still kids in the show, so it’s impossible to tell. I like how some people will say it like it’s a FACT though: “NO THEY’RE STRAIGHT, THEY ALL LIKE NAZZ. ITS CANON.” That always cracks me up. :D
Maybe you should explain to your friend the concept of fanart. ;) Is she the kind of person to say we draw “yaoi” to piss people off? Because that also cracks me up when people say that, hahaha.

it’s fine, it’s fine; I’m not upset or anything. I get a little nervous when people mention my erotic fanart and children in the same sentence. The last thing I want is for people to think I’m a creep drawing nasty stuff for children to look at. I try VERY hard to keep erotica available only to certain people. It’s not because I don’t want to scar anybody’s childhood or anything; it’s just because children are stupid and they’ll stumble across anything on the internet by mistake, and I don’t want to be a mistake. If someone wants to see my erotica they’ll find it somehow.
But I DO peddle that very gay ship to all audiences as often as possible. Being gay is a-okay, and I don’t want anybody at any age to think there’s anything wrong with it.
